Cassadaga Job Corps Center is looking for a Career Counselor to work with our students in a classroom setting. Career Counselors work with students to help them develop their career goals and career plans. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with students and are willing to work with them to help them reach their goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with students to develop career goals and college plans.
• Provide students with information about various job opportunities.
• Work with students to help them build their resumes, prepare for interviews, and learn new skills.
• Attendings events, internships, etc. to promote the brand and promote student success.
• Maintain a safe environment for students.
• Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and other community members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelors or Associate's Degree in Human Services required.

Skills Required:

• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized throughout the day.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.25 per hour
